Bhringaraj or Eclipta alba is an
Ayurvedic herb found throughout India and the southwestern U.S. Its name
means “ruler of the hair” and so is considered to be the best Ayurvedic
remedy for hair loss, premature graying and is also said to help make
hair dark, dense and lustrous. The herb has also been used in
Traditional Ayurveda as a rejuvenative tonic for the liver, for various
skin conditions and as a tonic for the mind.
Bhringaraj powder is an ancient remedy for hair loss, premature graying
and skin allergies. It is also said to help make hair dark, dense and
lustrous. Bhringaraj powder can be mixed in water with herbs like Henna,
Amla, Shikakai, Tulsi and applied on hair in paste form. These herbs can
also be incorporated into a coconut oil infusion and used as a
conditioning oil treatment. It shines and beautifies hair while helping
to rid numerous hair ailments.

How to use Bhringaraj Powder:
1. Take Organic Bhringaraj Powder orally as a daily tonic at 500mg or 1
Teaspoon. Add to smoothies or teas.
2. Bhringaraj combines well with Gotu Kola in a 1:1 ratio to make a hair
rinse: boil 1 Tablespoon of each in Tulsi tea with 8 oz. of water,
strain and cool.
3. Then mix Organic Bhringaraj Powder with Organic Amla Powder to make a
paste and apply on hair. These herbs can also be combined with coconut
oil to make a conditioning oil treatment in order to impart shine,
health and strength to the hair.
4. Or make a paste Bhringaraj
Powder using the required quantity of powder for your hair, add little
water, mix well and make a thick paste.
Gently massage rotating the fingertips
Wait 30-45 minutes
Wash thoroughly with water.
Infusing bhringraj in an oil such as coconut or sesame oil to massage
onto the scalp will help with baldness and can cause a regrowth of hair.
Use as a paste in combination with amla, brahmi, shikakai, tulsi, and/or
